This is a very nice and quite place. Nice rooms, very clean.
It is also very close to the monasteries, which is great if you want to walk.
Highly recommended.

“Excellent endroit”
Rating: 5.0 / 5.0

“Under the Mountains of Meteora”
Rating: 5.0 / 5.0

We had 4 enjoyable day staying at this family run hotel. The room was comfortable with a lovely balcony with view of the Meteora Mountains. The owners were very hospitable and you can use the kitchen for your own catering. They also run a Taverna called "Boufidis" where we ate a few times with excellent home cooking and BBQ Meats. Overall I can highly recommend this hotel for friendly people and greek hospitality. Kastraki is a small village but its location is marvelous right under the Meteora Mountains.

“really like your own home”
Rating: 5.0 / 5.0

Unbelievable friendly owners, rare seen hospitality, absolutely freedom of using of all facilities in this great house. Probably the best location in Kastraki. The family runs the restaurant too, on the road to Meteora. Excellent "souvlaki", greek salad, tzatziki etc., home made tsipouro. There were 10 of us from the age of 25 to 65, all of us were very delighted with this great experience. So we visited the restaurant a week later again by our back trip to Igoumenitsa which was accompanied with many hugs and kissis from the landlady and excellent food again. Best recomendation

Hotel runs by the three-generational family. Very nice, hospitable, friendly and polite owners. Room very clean, spacious with views of the Meteora. Great location for exploring the monasteries of Meteora. delicious breakfast, secure car parking backyards. excellent choice because of the family as the leading hotel and location. In the morning you can greet a wonderful rainbow

The old lady (I guess she is the owner's mother) is very kind. The kid (the owner's son) is very cute.

“owesome place in Kastraki”
Rating: 5.0 / 5.0

Very clean, confortable, next to "San Nicolas" monastery, what means that you are just in the right place to begin the walk to gran meteora (an hour more or less from the hotel to the top throught a beautiful path)
with great, great people working there. I really recomend.

“Good quiet location”
Rating: 5.0 / 5.0

We enjoyed our 2 nights there. It is on the footpath to the monasteries - turn left and keep right at the junction and follow the lane up the hill. Or catch the 9.20am bus to the top of the hill and walk down past most of the monasteries. We were in the basement room, which has no view and no balcony, but the location is good and the family as helpful as possible. The bus returns at 10am and runs through to Delphi.

San Giorgio Villa was a real pleasure for me. This small hotel is nice and clean and it is situated in a very quiet place. I have stayed there with my family [we have 2 children] and everybody was really happy about this place. The room was nice and clean but a little bit spartan. Not too much furniture. They have wireless but it was no signal in the room. I have stayed at the balcony [good signal] or at the first floor lobby. Breakfast was adequate but again not too many choices. Overall, a good place to spend some nights. We have stayed only one night, to visit the monasteries. If we will come back in thate region, San Giorgio Villa it will be for sure our first choice.
